Hobart is one of Australia’s most recognisable cities

The city of Hobart is an interesting blend of modernity, scenery, heritage and culture. A modern lifestyle set amongst a dramatic, heritage influenced cityscape, this is not a city to be missed.

There are copious award-winning restaurants and food to be found in Hobart incorporating Tasmania’s freshest produce into their dishes, including seafood straight from the Southern Ocean. Explore the various art galleries set in elegant heritage sandstone cottages, or those developed in stylish modern buildings.

A journey by car or ferry along Hobart’s beautiful waterfront will lead you to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), one of Australia’s most interesting private collections.
