All angles are covered around sensational KI, which is home to some of South Australia’s most prolific waters. Expect to be casting for the mighty Samson Fish, XOS Snapper, Sharks, Blue Morwong and Kangaroo Island’s world-famous Kidney Slapping Whiting.
Gavin Solly is the proud owner as well as skipper of Island Lure and, as everyone knows, he takes pride in both the vessel and work ethics aboard. Gavin has been taking clients out from Kangaroo Island into the deep shore reefs for over 10 years: all tackle is supplied and top-quality gear is tried, true and tested.
Island Lure is a 65-foot Conquest tri-station charter vessel with a flybridge. Purchased in 2009 by Kangaroo Island Fishing Adventures, it boasts full cabin air-conditioning, extensive electronics package, two toilets, shower and huge entertaining area on the rear deck. It also features seating and shade area, large freezer, fridge and BBQ for overnight charters. She sleeps a maximum of 12 guests, so every angler gets plenty of elbow room.
