True North offers two custom-built mono-hull adventure cruise ships – the True North and True North II. Both provide the same renowned adventure cruise experience with outstanding crew, renowned dining, and one-of-a-kind experiences.

The crew of the True North are passionate about sharing the experience with you by providing assistance, interpretation, and genuine company. They are on-hand to facilitate your experience both on and off-board the ship with demonstrated enthusiasm and knowledge for the landscape.

Custom-built to provide unparalleled access to wilderness, True North’s vessels enable guests to comfortably engage in activities directly off the main deck – ranging from pulling up directly alongside cascading waterfalls and snorkelling amongst pristine fringing coral reef straight off deck.

Each ship operates with their own fleet of dedicated adventure boats – 20’ runabouts providing ample seating and flexibility to both stand-up and walk around when not in motion, providing comfort, practicality and safety while exploring remote waters with activities such as photography, fishing, snorkelling, and diving.

TRUE NORTH I

One of the world’s most exclusive hotels, the 50-metre True North is a floating boutique hotel and adventure cruise ship offers a cruising speed of 14 knots.

18 cabins cater to 36 total guests, with all cabins featuring stylish décor, ensuite facilities, large viewing windows, in-house entertainment, and satellite telephones. Spread across three decks, 10 cabin types offers king size double beds that can be converted into singles, while 8 cabin types are equipped with roomy single beds.

This vessel offers lavish vantage points across three levels, including a sundeck, forward observation lounge, ship’s lounge with wall-mounted screens presenting interpretative information, alfresco bar, sports deck, and lower deck dining room. Each offers panoramic views and ensures you’ll never miss a moment, whether you’re dining, relaxing, or preparing to explore afield.

TRUE NORTH II

Delivering a more intimate experience, the True North II is the original purpose-built mono-hull adventure cruise ship, now refurbished and returned to Australian waters. This 34-metre adventure cruise ship offers a cruising speed of 12 knots, with large viewing windows and portholes across the vessel.

11 cabins cater to 22 total guests, each with an ensuite or private facilities with in-house entertainment and satellite telephones. 8 cabins offer queen-size double beds and 3 offer roomy, bunk-configured single beds.

This vessel offers a combined saloon and lounge, dining saloon with a stunning ‘boardroom’ setting, sundeck, outdoor bar deck, and dedicated sports deck, offering a comfortable and stylish True North experience featuring multiple daily activities, revered onboard dining, and unparalleled access to the landscapes.

Kimberley Wilderness

Spread across a vast stretch of North-Western Australia, the Kimberley is a panorama of rugged mountains, spectacular gorges, and majestic waterfalls. A range of itineraries offer intimate access to shallow bays and river systems and the region’s icons including ancient Wandjina rock art, Montgomery Reef, King George Falls, and much more.

Australian Coastline

With more than 25,000 kilometres of spectacular coastline to discover, True North ventures across the coast of Western Australia ranging from wild waters to still, coral-fringed reefs, beautiful Sydney Harbour and Great Barrier Reef over Christmas and New Year, the rugged coastline of the seafood-rich Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, and more.

Indonesia, West Papua, and Papua New Guinea

Outside of Australian waters, the True North offers expeditions to the Raja Ampats and nearby islands of the Indonesian Archipelago, as well as the untouched paradise of Papua New Guinea for guests to discover an incredible melting pot of culture, history, nature, and hospitality.

Kimberley Ultimate

The ultimate Kimberley cruise experience taking you from Kununurra to Broome, this flagship experience offers two outstanding weeks in some of Australia’s most inaccessible and breathtaking wilderness areas. Discover all of the Kimberley coast’s iconic attractions, including King George Falls, the Drysdale River’s outstanding fishing opportunities, Wandjina rock art, Mitchell River, Montgomery Reef and Horizontal Falls, while enjoying a range of tactile experiences like hiking, barramundi fishing, mud crabbing, picnics, natural history interpretation, helicopter rides, and more.

Coral Atoll Cruise (Rowley Shoals)
