Haggerstone Island - Robinson Crusoe Island Great Barrier Reef

Pristine, peaceful and incredibly beautiful, privately-owned Haggerstone Island is located on the northern fringes of the Great Barrier Reef and offers a distinctively laid-back Robinson Crusoe tropical experience.  Situated 600km from Cairns, the 42-hectare island is accessible only by chartered aircraft and a boat ride, or by seaplane. It enjoys lush jungle, white-sand beaches and blue lagoons; bird life is prolific and the fishing – by rod, reel or fly – is amazing.

Guest accommodation is nestled around the island with ocean views and each are equipped with comfy beds, bathrooms, fridges and electric power. Meals are served in the Main Pavilion, an impressive wooden building which also contains a library, bar and wine cellar. The island offers a huge range of outdoor activities, including snorkelling, fishing, and bird watching and operates its own 40ft boat.
