The Tailor, in partnership with one of Australia’s most respected environmental organisations, Canopy, has created a carbon (CO2) offset program that converts the CO2 emissions from your Australian journey into tree plantings and ultimately the regeneration of the Australian landscape.
This is the most precise and only tailored CO2 offset available for the discerning traveller.

Each year since 2008, Canopy, one of Australia’s most respected environmental organisations, has measured the carbon emissions associated with our office and our work related journeys, including our trips to and from the office each day. These are then fully offset through tree plantings under The Tailor’s ‘100% carbon offset’ program.
Over their lives, the trees planted will absorb all of the CO2 emissions of your Australian journey so you are ‘100% Carbon Offset’. Trees have a survival guarantee and are legally registered on the land title to protect them in perpetuity, even if the land is sold. The forest is self-regenerating and can never be removed. Plantings link up with uncleared woodland and help repair landscapes, promote biodiversity, provide habitat for wildlife and redress soil salinity. All Canopy plantings comply with the Commonwealth Government’s “Carbon Farming Initiative” guidelines.
Calculations are based on your personal journey and not just as an average percentage of all trips. In essence your carbon offset has been hand crafted with the same level of attention to detail as your Australian journey.
