Eyre Peninsula

White sandy beaches met with rough and rugged coastline, superb seafood freshy caught and abundant wildlife

Enjoy remarkable wildlife encounters, peerless fishing and the fabulous seafood

Experience a world of wonder on the Eyre Peninsula. Located in South Australia, the region boasts over 2,000 kilometres of pristine coastline. Outstanding National Parks frame the coast, whilst ivory beaches and rugged clifftops provide dramatic contrast to the scenic landscape.

Your Eyre Peninsula journey begins with the sea, including incredible aquatic activities such as diving with Great White sharks, swimming with Sea Lions or Tuna, and tasting world-class oyster directly from the ocean.

There is also a diverse range of adventure experiences to be enjoyed on land, including four-wheel-driving across sand dunes, exploring the National Parks, searching for iconic Australian wildlife (emu’s, koala’s and kangaroo’s). Then after a long day of uncovering the specialities of the Eyre Peninsula, wind down with a glass of wine in your beautiful private beach-side residence.

  • Raise the adrenaline and come face-to-face with a Great White shark on a cage-diving experience
  • Don a pair of waders and sample the highest quality oysters directly from the ocean.
  • Journey this magnificent region with a local, discovering the very best of the Eyre Peninsula.

The Eyre Peninsula is a semi-arid climate, experiencing warm summers and wet winters.

In summer (December to February), the average temperature is between 17.2 – 25.2°C (63 – 77.4°F). However, the average winter (June to August) temperature falls between 8.7 – 13.2°C (47.7 – 48.9°F).

Autumn (March to May) and spring (September to November) are beautiful times to visit the region, with mild days the norm. Temperatures during these seasons sit as 13.6 – 23.8°C (59.9 to 74.8°F).

What do our experts say about Eyre Peninsula?

"I love how crowd-free and unspoilt this whole region is! My favourite place on the Eyre Peninsula is Coffin Bay. It’s so picturesque and peaceful and the perfect place to escape the rat race."
