Margaret River experiences a mild climate, similar to the Mediterranean, which is perfect for the growing and producing of wine.

Summer December - February

In summer (December to February) the days are often warm and dry with temperatures ranging between 18.7 – 20.8 °C (74.1 – 78.6°F).
Winter June - August

In winter (June to August) the daily temperatures drop to an average of 12.8 – 13.8°C (61.3 – 61.7°F).
Autumn and Spring March - May, September - November

Autumn (March to May) and spring (September to November) are beautifully mild seasons, with the average daily temperature ranging from 13.7 – 19.6°C (63.5 – 76.1°F).

City or Wilderness? Why and where?

Wilderness and for two reasons …. One is because I love the big sky country, I love places where you can see from one edge of the earth to the other. Where the sky is literally half of everything and it is usually as blue as can be. I also love being in the wilderness because we have so much to learn about our continent’s unique history, flora, fauna, bio-diversity, the conservation challenges we face and the Aboriginal people’s amazing connection to country.
