Victoria can be known to experience all four seasons in the one day, with its weather often being very unpredictable.

Summer December - February

Typically, in summer (December to February), the temperatures range between 14 – 25.3°C (57.2 – 77.5°F), however temperatures do often reach past 30°C (86°F).
Winter June - August

Winter is often much colder with snow falls often seen in the north east. The winter (June to August) temperatures usually range between 6.5 – 14.2°C (43.7 – 57.6°F).
Autumn and Spring March - May, September - November

Autumn (March to May) and Spring (September to November) are often mild seasons in comparison, with temperatures ranging between 90.6 – 20.3°C (49.3 – 68.5°F). These are often great times to visit.

Mornington is where Melbourne locals go to play. The pies and cronuts at Johnny Ripe are worth the hour’s trek from Melbourne all on their own but while you’re down here, you might as well try a few of the pinot’s at Ocean Eight – it’s one of the smallest of the dozens of cellar doors on the Peninsula, and probably the prettiest. The walk at Cape Schanck Lighthouse is one of the best short walks you’ll find anywhere so be sure to leave some time for a wander here.
