Seasons in Cradle Mountain
Much like the rest of Australia, Tasmania receives four distinctive seasons of weather throughout the year.
Summer (December to February) is a great time to visit, with temperatures averaging from 16 – 18°C (61 – 64°F). Winter (June to August) is when the colder Tasmania weather really sets in and average temperatures drop to 6°C (43°F).
Spring (September to November) and Autumn (March to May) are beautiful times to visit, with the mild temperatures and vibrant landscapes creating a very scenic experience. Average temperatures during these seasons range between 8 – 15°C (46 – 59°F).
