Seasons in Lord Howe Island

Lord Howe Island enjoys a very mild and consistent climate all year round.

Summer December - February

In summer (December to February), the days are typically warm and sunny with temperatures averaging between 20 – 25° C (68 – 77° F).
Winter June - August

In the winter (June to August) the temperatures are cooler and range between 12 – 19° C (53.6 – 66.2° F).
Autumn and Spring March - May, September - November

Autumn (March to May) and spring (September to November) are also beautiful times to visit the island, with temperatures falling between 14 – 25° C (57.2 – 77° F), making for very mild and temperate days.

There’s so much to love about Lord Howe Island, but one of the more memorable and unique experiences was wading into knee deep water at Ned’s Beach to hand-feed the fish. I couldn’t believe what diversity of fish there was, and it made for plenty of laughs – would be a fantastic experience for families with kids!

I enjoy building a special relationship with our clients from all over the world to truly understand their interests and likes before tailoring an Australian itinerary exactly to their needs, including experiences they would have never heard of. Every itinerary is different and presents a new creative challenge, which I love.

City or Wilderness? Why and where?

A little bit of both, that is why I love living in Adelaide. It is only a 5-hour drive from Adelaide and you are in the Flinders Ranges & Outback or just a short 50-minute flight to Port Lincoln to explore the Eyre Peninsula. But I would not want to miss the Adelaide city life with its amazing festivals, art exhibitions & galleries and outstanding restaurants.
