Set in extraordinary locations, these camps provide a seamless blend of adventure and indulgence. Wake to the sounds of nature, explore rugged terrain with expert guides, and relax in beautifully designed accommodations that complement their surroundings. With tailored experiences and world-class hospitality, tented camps offer an unmatched way to experience Australia’s diverse and remote regions.

What is a tented camp?

Tented camps, sometimes called “glamping”, go far beyond traditional camping. These elevated retreats offer a seamless blend of wilderness and comfort, where fine linens replace sleeping bags, gourmet meals are served under open skies, and expertly guided experiences reveal the land’s secrets. Whether you are waking to the calls of native wildlife, dining by the glow of a campfire, or unwinding in an outdoor bath with uninterrupted views of the outback, every moment is designed for immersion, relaxation, and exclusivity.

Why choose a tented camp?

Not all tented camps are created equal. We hand-pick only the finest based on three key principles.

  • Exclusivity. With a limited number of accommodations, these camps ensure privacy and personalised service, making each stay an intimate and memorable experience.
  • Sustainability. Designed to blend into their surroundings, these camps are built with a light footprint, using local materials and eco-conscious practices to protect the landscapes they inhabit.
  • Remoteness. Located in extraordinary settings, from the heart of the outback to secluded coastal hideaways, these camps take you far from the everyday, deep into Australia’s untamed beauty.

A stay in a tented camp is not just about where you sleep. It is about how you experience the land. Whether you are traversing ancient desert dunes, swimming in remote waterholes, or watching the sun set over an endless horizon, every detail is carefully curated for an unforgettable journey. Our expert Travel Designers craft bespoke itineraries that ensure your adventure is as seamless as it is extraordinary.
