Cicada Lodge is a 100% Indigenous owned property located on the bank of the picturesque Katherine River inside the Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park. Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) features distinct sandstone country, lush gullies of foliage inhabit giant cracks in the gorge walls, and broad valleys meander through both the high and the low country.

This diverse and spectacular landscape is also a cultural landscape, where the Jawoyn People (Traditional Indigenous Australian Landowners of Nitmiluk) continue to live and work while sharing their culture with visitors to their Country.

Cicada Lodge’s 18 Deluxe Rooms have been designed to emphasise the natural Australian outback surrounds whilst highlighting authentic Indigenous products: Each room features panoramic windows and a private balcony to facilitate natural airflow throughout the room and allow for the scenic natural surrounds of the property to become an in-room aesthetic feature. Each room is also fully air-conditioned. Local Indigenous art will decorate the walls of each room –also available for purchase.
