The Lodge comprises 22 secluded rooms and suites, surrounded by 40 acres of private grounds; in addition, there’s a magnificent four-bedroom Private Residence sitting on its own three acres. Guests are free to enjoy the luscious grounds which include vines, forest, gardens and lake, as well as an all-weather tennis court and beautiful free-form swimming pool.

Cape Lodge is minutes away from pristine beaches, coastline and the sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean; it neighbours the great Margaret River wine estates of Mosswood, Vasse Felix, Cullen and Pierro.

The acclaimed Cape Lodge Lakeside Restaurant is reserved exclusively for guests. It features a 14,000-bottle temperature-controlled cellar, stocked with premium back vintage Margaret River wines.

Cape Lodge is also home to the acclaimed Gourmet Retreat and Cookery School – ideal for lovers of great food and wine.

The Residence: The hotel’s magnificent Vineyard Residence is ideal for a small group of friends, family or associates seeking a private retreat combined with the full hotel services and facilities provided by Cape Lodge. Accommodating up to 4 couples the interiors throughout are light and understated offering expansive entertaining areas with views across formal gardens and rolling lawns. The gourmet kitchen and open plan living area is perfect for a private cooking class.

Lakeside Room: The Lakeside Rooms are large, light and airy located beside the brook and are surrounded by natural landscaping. Fully air-conditioned suites featuring bathroom with separate spacious walk in showers and baths, private balcony and lakeside views, the Lakeside Rooms are the perfect choice for a luxury getaway for 2.

Cape Lodge is equipped with a tennis court and swimming pool. Guests are offered a menu of select tours and experiences operated by parties known to complement the Lodge’s exacting standards. (Costs apply.)

The magnificent onsite restaurant sits beside the main lake and features over-water alfresco decking, sumptuous guest lounge and private dining room. Voted in the Top Ten in the World for Food in Condé Nast Traveller’s Gold List in 2008, the restaurant is one of Australia’s finest new-generation dining establishments. The menu changes daily based on fresh local produce and the wine list features a wide selection of premium Margaret River and back vintage wines, carefully stored in the temperature-controlled wine cellar.
