Ever Bloomfield continues the story of the former Bloomfield Lodge, opening on 1 November 2026 with a renewed guest experience shaped by the Daintree Coast, Great Barrier Reef and Tropical North Queensland. Set between two UNESCO World Heritage environments, the ancient Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, the lodge will offer an intimate, low impact stay immersed in rainforest, reef, river and Country.

Accessible by boat or helicopter, Ever Bloomfield feels wonderfully removed while remaining deeply connected to the landscapes that surround it. The lodge sits 180 kilometres north of Cairns and 75 kilometres south east of Cooktown, offering guests direct access to the reef systems, rainforest trails, remote coastlines and cultural stories of the region.

Accommodation has been designed to sit gently within the landscape, with rooms and shared spaces shaped by tropical architecture, natural textures, open air living and a strong sense of place. Guests can choose from thoughtfully designed room categories including the elevated Queenslander Room, generous Suites and private Cabins.

A stay at Ever Bloomfield is guided by people who understand the rhythm of this place. Experiences are shaped around each guest’s interests, the conditions of the day and the natural character of the region. Days may include snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, a guided Daintree rainforest walk, a Bloomfield River cruise, an ATV adventure, cultural experiences with Traditional Owners, a catch and cook experience, or a heli safari to ancient Quinkan rock art.

Accommodation Options and Facilities

Ever Bloomfield will open with thirteen bungalows, with a fourteenth to be added in 2027, creating an intimate lodge experience in one of Australia’s most remarkable natural settings. Accommodation is designed with a quiet sense of ease, drawing on tropical architecture, generous decks, natural airflow, warm timber finishes and a close connection to the surrounding rainforest and gardens.

The Queenslander Room is elevated above the forest floor and inspired by classic tropical design. Wide verandahs, timber detailing and generous windows invite the rainforest in, creating a light filled retreat for two guests.

The Suites offer more space to settle in, with expansive living areas opening onto garden surrounds. Two free standing Suites can interconnect, making them well suited to couples travelling together, small families, or guests who prefer a little more room.

The Cabins are intimate private retreats positioned within the guest quarter. Each has been composed for privacy and calm, with rainforest and/or water views, outdoor deck space and a sense of seclusion within the landscape.

Shared lodge spaces include the Pool Lounge and Casual Dining area, Long Room Restaurant, Speak Easy Lounge and Yarning Circle. These spaces have been created for relaxed connection, quiet conversation, shared meals and moments of stillness between experiences.

Guests can shape their stay with a wide range of guided experiences. Options include the Great Barrier Reef Sea Safari, Daintree Rainforest ATV Adventure, CREB and Roaring Meg Falls Journey, Trevathan Falls Ride and Discover, Cedar Bay Coast and Country, Quinkan Rock Art Heli Safari, Daintree Rainforest Guided Hike, Bloomfield River Cruise, Kangaji Beach Hike and Catch and Cook experience.

Dining

Dining at Ever Bloomfield is shaped by the surrounding land and sea. The kitchen draws from seasonal produce grown on property, reef fish from the Coral Sea, tropical fruits, rainforest ingredients and the food culture of Tropical North Queensland.

Meals are designed to feel generous, relaxed and deeply connected to place. Guests may gather in the Long Room Restaurant, enjoy casual poolside dining, share drinks in the Speak Easy Lounge, or experience meals outdoors as part of a guided day in the landscape.

Some of the most memorable dining moments happen beyond the lodge. A reef day may include a chef prepared lunch on board. A Catch and Cook experience may see guests fish the reef or hunt for mud crab before preparing the catch over fire by the beach. Other experiences may include picnics, rainforest meals, visits to local producers, or food led moments that reveal the region through flavour.

The result is dining that feels personal and unforced, with each meal offering another way to understand Bloomfield and the wider Daintree Coast.
