Main Information

An elegant sanctuary nestled alongside the historic Mount Lofty House, Sequoia is a luxury lodge boasting panoramic views of the Adelaide Hills, personalised service, and exceptional food and wine. It is named for the 150-year-old Sequoia trees planted by Arthur and Martha Hardy, the original owners of the adjacent Mount Lofty House.

The lodge offers fourteen open-plan suites with elegant interiors reflecting the surroundings. Each suite offers a range of comfortable amenities such as a sunken lounge, comfortable and spacious bedroom and bathroom, large balcony with daybed, and undisturbed views of the scenic Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills.

Guests at Sequoia also enjoy access to all of Mount Lofty House’s amenities and a range of curated on-site activities, including a day spa, infinity pool, communal lounge with sundeck and multiple fireplaces, tennis court, nearby walking trails into the Adelaide Hills, and more.

Known for charming towns nestled within lush greenery, and sprawling vineyards with cool climate wine region elegance, the high-country Adelaide Hills showcases award-winning artisanal food and wine amongst picturesque scenery. Only twenty minutes from Adelaide city, this scenic region offers an extended portfolio of more than 60 different wineries alongside independent breweries offering craft beers, ciders, and boutique spirits.

The lodge offers fourteen open-plan suites with elegant interiors reflecting the surroundings. Made with local materials in earthy tones, each suite offers a range of comfortable amenities such as sunken lounge, large and comfortable bedroom, bathroom with an enormous bathtub and wellness shower, large balcony with daybed, a gas fireplace, hidden tv, and undisturbed views of the scenic Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills. Alongside these amenities, each room is fully automated to offer different mood and time of day settings for maximum comfort.

Staying at Sequoia offers access to all of Mount Lofty House’s amenities and a range of curated on-site activities. Indulge in the main lodge lounge featuring multiple fireplaces, sunken lounges, a panoramic sun deck, two Japanese hot mineral onsen tubs and an on-site day spa with a range of treatments, an infinity pool, and wildlife enclosure, with nearby tennis court and several walking trails into the Adelaide Hills. Other activities include storytelling and yoga sessions, guided tours of Mount Lofty Botanic Garden, and more.
