A cycling experience like no other. Join cycling legend, Stuart O’Grady as he takes you on the perfect ride around Adelaide that’s been carefully crafted by no other than the man himself.

A former two times World Champion on the track and with career highlights that include 6 Olympic Games and a gold medal, Tour de France 17 times, Paris-Roubaix winner (2007), and Australia’s own Tour Down Under, Stuart’s career as a professional road bicycle racer spans almost two decades.

Stuart shares his love of cycling and details from his career in this up close and personal experience. as he guides you on what he describes as ‘the perfect ride’.

Tour Highlights

The day begins at the The Velo Precinct located East of Adelaide in Victoria Parks Heritage Grandstand at 9.15am. Here you will have the opportunity to meet Stuart and share a coffee. You’ll also have the opportunity to view some of the memorabilia from Stuart’s career, including his 2004 Athens Olympic Gold Medal and one of the most prized trophies in professional cycling – the Cobblestone from the 2007 Paris-Roubaix.

From here, you’ll be personally prepped for your 85km ride – one of Stu’s all-time favourite loops in Adelaide through the picturesque Adelaide Hills. As an optional extra you will have the opportunity to purchase your very own set of exclusive Stuart O’Grady lycra to wear on your ride and keep (please note that this must be purchased at time of booking). Stu will take you to his personal favourite place for lunch to refuel in this unforgettable four hour ride.

Take comfort in knowing that your every turn is also being followed by a dedicated support vehicle for your group, including a professional mechanic, food, drinks and spare wheels.

On your return into Adelaide, you’ll ride back to The Velo Precinct, where shower facilities and towels are available and a cold beverage awaits to enjoy with a cheese platter. Your tour concludes at approximately 2:00pm. An unforgettable day with one of Australia’s greatest legends.
